Greetings,
Well, what can I say? What an interesting year it has been from an astrological perspective. First there’s the 13th sign debate in January. Then there’s the earthquake and tsunami in Japan as Uranus entered Aries. Following those two are the ‘Super’ full moon speculations! And we’re only in March! By December, we will most likely have an entire litany of astrological events to report for 2011.
Why do I mention all of this? It is because all of these things are exactly the kinds of things that come up with this cardinal T-square that is in the heavens currently. Luckily, though, all of these things are cerebral and conceptual by nature. I say this because the last time there was a cardinal T-square of this magnitude, it brought us the Great Depression, among other things. The main difference is that the T-square that exists now is a reflection of the one from then. And let’s face some facts: this is a much different world than the one that existed in the late 20’s and early 30’s. The world that was around then has vanished into the realms of virtual obscurity. True, it was only 80 years ago, but the world we know today is almost NOT the same as then. Consider this: Now we have common 40 hour work weeks. This didn’t come about until the 1940’s. No longer is America a global leader when it comes to things like farming. It’s even a challenge now to find farmers other than corporate farms. Now we can communicate in the blink of an eye. Now processed food is the norm. Now we have chem trails that create the weather. During that earlier time, weather occurred naturally. Also during that time, America was respected on the global stage. That was a time before CIA engineered coups in the Middle East. That was a time that was just coming out of the ‘Gilded Age’.
All of the changes that have occurred since then haven’t necessarily been bad. There’s been a lot of good that has happened since then. For example, the revolution of love in the 60’s. And the greater equality in human rights. Art, entertainment, computers, and the DNA development are all areas that have benefited in the last 80 years, to name but a few.
So why do I bring all of this up? I do so simply to illustrate that as we approach the end of another astrological year, our mundane year is just beginning. Everything is cyclical, as we all know, and this upcoming 2011 will bring many changes that could be paralleled to the evolution that happened following the Great Depression. 2011, in particular the astrological year beginning tomorrow, is going to be one of motion, so hold onto your hats, buckle your safety belt, and remember these two pearls of wisdom: ‘The only constant is change’, and ‘May you live in interesting times.’
Blessings,
