Happy Full Moon Taurus!

Greetings,

Yesterday was the full moon in Taurus, and thus was the ancient ceremony of Wesak, which celebrates the life and ascension of Lord Buddha. I’ve covered Wesak in previous blog posts, so I won’t go in depth about it here. But there are a few things worth mentioning about this auspicious time of the astrological year.

To begin with, any of us can access the energies of the spiritual governing body of the Earth known as the Hierarchy, but at this moment, it is easier to accomplish than at other times. The easiest way to do this is to simply meditate on those spiritual teachers that one works with at this time, as they gather at Shamballah for this ceremony. There is also said to be a crystal lake at the center of Shamballah. This is worth mentioning because crystal, also known as clear quartz crystal, is an energy amplifier, and thus by knowing about this, we can use our knowledge and experience with quartz as an energy amplifier to our own energy, and thus make journeying easier and of a greater magnitude.

Secondly, while the Sun is in Taurus, the Moon was in Scorpio at this time. This is pertinent because Scorpio is the most occult sign of the zodiac, and due to this, now is a good time to focus on the hidden life, and what lies beneath the surface. This includes not only all things related to the occult, but also those things that we connect with that are our passions. Passions are good, but if they do us, and we don’t do them, there can be challenges that arise which have the potential to take us away from our greater growth and good.

Third, this is the apex time of the first three full moons of the year, and because of this, now is the time to set our own peaks for our spiritual development during the upcoming astrological year. These first three full moons have such a profound influence on us that we can achieve much more spiritual growth than at other times of the year.

For those of you that are into journeying, it is also worth noting that Shamballah as is discussed here doesn’t physically manifest on physical Earth, but rather it only precipitates as far down as the etheric planes. This makes contact a little easier, as we can travel with our inner plane guides and teachers to this energetic place. Thus, it can be more of a family event from a spiritual perspective.

I encourage everyone to journey to Shamballah now, and at a time other than Wesak so that the true magnitude of what happens during this festival can be felt the next time around, and thus our finer energies compass can be oriented and reset to tune into greater energy that is available to us. This is not the only time Shamballah can be accessed; it is simply the time of the festival of the Buddha.

Blessings,
