Greetings!
Today we have the full moon, with the Sun in Scorpio and the Moon in Taurus, but the big news of the day is all of the activity in Scorpio, other than the Sun! We have what is known as a stellium in Scorpio today. A stellium is an aspect pattern that occurs when three or more chart points are in a particular sign, or there are three or more chart points that are in a particular house. Today we have the Sun, Venus, and Saturn all congregating in the fixed water sign of Scorpio, which sets the stage for a period of upcoming intensity. This is all resonating quite well with Pluto and Mars in Capricorn, and Neptune and Chiron in Pisces for different reasons. However, what this tells us on the macrocosmic stage is that now is the time to put emotional and spiritual changes into action. Part of this involves trusting your intuition, and part of this has to do with changing what is in place if better ways can be found. This is an opportune time to make changes, which may go against the general vibe in the air, but que serra serra. When it’s time to change, it’s time to change, and your intuition will guide you through the process. Pay no heed to fear or discomfort, as those things will only slow you down in the long run.
Another piece of this full moon is that the Moon is in the fixed earth sign of Taurus, which is the opposite sign of Scorpio. The easiest way to see the stark differences between the two is to understand that Taurus is all about using your own resources, while Scorpio is all about using shared resources. Notice I didn’t say anything about other peoples’ resources. There is a difference between shared resources and other peoples’ resources, and it is wise to know the difference between the two so you can maximize your personal growth.
So, why change at all? I mean, other than it’s the best character trait that the human species has, is there a reason to change what you’re doing? Yes, yes there is, and the biggest reason is that you are not the same person you were when you started some habits, so why use outdated methods? However, here’s another insight that can help: A Chinese proverb says that the only constant is change, and this is something I identify with very strongly. It has also been said that stagnation equals death. However, we all know people that fear change and will dig in their heels against any change because they are too scared of the unknown. Let’s critically think this for a moment: If these people want things in a constant state, and the only constant is change, then why resist change, for that is the only constant in life? Seriously? If you dig in your heels against change you are demonstrating fear; not a desire to adhere to tradition and what is comfortable because tradition is change, and the wise finds comfort in that. Besides, who wants to be stagnant anyway? At this time of the Full Moon, as you find the harmony between using what you have and using what you share, I encourage you to contemplate these thoughts. Where would it be wise to make changes right now, and where would it be wise to grow?
Blessings,
Bill
